How to determine your shutter size
Divide the width of the window in half — that is your panel width. Up to 2" narrower still looks right.
Divide the window width by 4, so each of the two panels covers a quarter of it.
Divide the window width by 6. Where the answer is close to your single windows, use the same width for consistency.
On a window wider than it is tall, divide the width by 4 instead — that keeps the panels narrow enough to look right against a short opening.
